Hi folks,
I would like to ask for some hints, or tips.
I cannot download anything from scenep2p, because it requires to register my nick with NickServ.

/whois NickServ delivers
NickServ services Services.SceneP2P.net * :Nickname Registration Service
NickServ :is an IRC Operator
NickServ :is a Network Service
nickserv :End of /WHOIS list.

but whatever command I try to send, I only get "Unsupported command".
/msg NickServ help
/msg NickServ register
...

Balduz answered this in another thread, here is his solution that worked for me

To join this channel you need to connect to Scenep2p using ssl. So change the port of Scenep2p to 6697 and check the "Enable SSL?" checkbox. Should work then.

I saw that post before, and I was already using SSL, but on port 9999. I've tried now with 6697, but still no success. When I type "/msg NickServ register somepass" in some channels input box, I only get "unsupported command (help)".
