I noticed resuming almost never works. If i look at the not completed filed at the end it has some data that doesn't belong to the (compressed) file, thus it fails to resume. A XDCC Catcher error or an error from the remote side?

Do you have rollback check enabled? If so, this will verify that the x-last bytes of what has already been written to disk matches with what the bot wants to send you to resume.
