Hi, when I try to join beast-xdcc it creates a channel, beast-chat. I cannot join it, and therefore not download anything from beast-xdcc, All I get is the message required channel ok, but not yet joined >joining. But it doesnt. Am I doing anything wrong?

Can you PM the debug.log related to joining the beast-chat channel?
There's a couple of reasons why you're not able to join this chat channel.

Nothing in the logs except repeated attempts to join - at my guess they've put a special character at the start of the beast-chat channel name that XDCCCatcher can't handle - displays as # beast-chat rather than #beast-chat

i.e. joining #beast-xdcc you get # beast-chat created and this

[19:43:45] [-]Required channel OK but not yet joined -> Joining

Thats exactly what I am getting.

Also, I am now not getting as many packets as I used to. Left it running overnight last night, and only had 43000 ish (forget the exact number) of packets, where I used to have well over 200K.

I can indeed confirm that they added an extra space in the required channel string. Will fix this
